Ok so i thought this would be a good example of a subject. This is Dexter, an analyst for the Miami P.D. who also is a serial killer. The thing is that Dexter only kills criminals. It's controversial that this guy who works for the police department also goes around and kills people.The signs of Dexter wearing a suit that represents how put together he must be and with the rips in certain places probably represents the secrets he is trying to keep in. Viewers are so fascinated with the idea of someone who works on both sides of good and bad. You would think that this show wouldn't be so popular but it's accepted because Dexter only kills criminals. But who's to say that is ok, that just because they committed a crime they also deserve to die. To be honest I haven't actually been a regular viewer of the show but I do find it interesting that there is something about our culture that allows for this and is pretty much ok with it.
