It is tough to rule to the parents out there to have only one child in their household or any second child will not get any social benefits. It is only possible in communist regime driven economic power house China. If this was ruled out in United States of America or any other nations in European Union, people would be protesting everywhere. China has opened up their economy in about two decades ago but their propaganda remains pretty much the same unlike their special administrative regions; Hong Kong, Macau where democracy exists due to one country two government system rules out. In Pope’s point of view, this is not humane way of treating parents as well as the world. We all know that China has been growing so rapidly that everything has to be controlled or limited to what government says to do so. Urbanization would have played a big role about our lifestyles. But China should be allowed to have more than one child in their overly expanding nations. Since I have been to mainland China a while ago, I can tell how big they are and overly polluted they are. Even city with 1-2 million is considered as a small city in China. In Pope’s view might suggest that China should open up and allow them to have more child since having one child for every single household would not expand their young generation. There is a phenomenon called little king in China. Since every household is limited to have one child, a child behaves like a king or queen since they are cherished by their whole family members which would often spoil their child. I would believe that many issues that China has been suffering should be dissolved in democratic way so that their people would have more chances and freedoms that people in the west enjoys and take it as a complement.
